📜 Terms & Conditions – CropBazar

By accessing or using the CropBazar mobile application or website (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

CropBazar (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a technology platform operated by an individual, providing a digital marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of agricultural products.

1. Eligibility

• Users must be 18 years or older to use the Platform.
• Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
• Each user is allowed to maintain only one account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

2. User Roles & Access

The Platform supports multiple user roles:

• Farmer – Can list crops for sale; distributors can purchase
• Distributor (Wholesaler) – Can buy from farmers and list for retailers
• Retailer – Can buy from distributors and list for customers
• Customer – Can purchase listed products

Each role has restricted permissions. Role misuse or circumvention of platform rules may result in suspension or permanent blocking.

3. Marketplace Transactions

• All purchases on the Platform are completed using the in-app wallet.
• When a purchase is made:
  • The buyer’s wallet is debited
  • The seller’s wallet is credited
• CropBazar charges a transparent platform service fee, displayed during checkout.
• CropBazar does not guarantee:
  • Product availability
  • Seller performance
  • Delivery timelines

CropBazar acts only as a platform facilitator and is not the seller of listed products.

4. Wallet System

• The CropBazar wallet is a closed-loop wallet usable only within the Platform.
• Wallet balance:
  • Does not earn interest
  • Cannot be transferred between users outside transactions
  • Cannot be used outside the Platform
• Users are responsible for reviewing wallet transactions and balances.

5. Payments, Refunds & Withdrawals

Payments

• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
• CropBazar does not store card, bank, or net-banking details.
• Payments are settled to the platform account as per Razorpay settlement policies.

Refunds

• Refunds are processed only after verification.
• Approved refunds are credited back to the in-app wallet.
• Refund processing timeline: 5–7 working days from approval.
• Direct bank or card refunds are not processed automatically.

Withdrawals

• Sellers may request withdrawal of wallet balance by submitting valid UPI or bank details.
• Withdrawal requests are:
  • Manually reviewed
  • Manually approved
• Approved withdrawals are processed within T+2 working days.
• CropBazar is not responsible for delays caused by banks, UPI providers, or external systems.

6. Platform Fees

CropBazar charges a platform service fee as follows:

Fees are clearly shown before transaction confirmation.

7. Virtual Crop Feature (Important Disclaimer)

• The virtual crop feature is a marketplace simulation and pricing reference tool.
• Virtual crop units do not represent real financial securities, investments, or guaranteed assets.
• Displayed prices are for informational and marketplace reference purposes only.
• CropBazar does not:
  • Offer investment advice
  • Guarantee profits or returns
  • Promote speculative or financial trading behavior

Users participate at their own discretion.

8. Shipping & Delivery

• Products listed on CropBazar are shipped or delivered directly by sellers.
• CropBazar does not handle physical logistics or transportation.
• Delivery timelines, charges, and methods are communicated by the seller.
• CropBazar is not liable for delays caused by:
  • Sellers
  • Logistics partners
  • Natural events or force majeure

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Commit fraud or misuse the wallet system
• Manipulate prices or listings
• Upload false, misleading, or illegal content
• Attempt unauthorized access or hacking
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

Violation may result in account suspension, fund withholding, or permanent termination.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

CropBazar reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice
• Block access for policy violations
• Withhold suspicious transactions pending verification

11. Limitation of Liability

CropBazar is provided on an “as is” basis.

We are not liable for:

• Market losses or price fluctuations
• Delivery failures or seller disputes
• Payment delays caused by third-party services
• Incorrect information provided by users

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
